Bought 11,000 shares of FIRST REIT on 23rd Aug at $1.28.


Reasons for buying:

1) Close to 2 years low ($1.25 on Dec 2016)
2) 6.7% dividend yields
3) Quarterly dividend payment
4) Consistent growth in Asset size every year (From 325.6M in 2007 to 1349.3M in 2017) due to healthy pipeline from Sponsor
5) Earliest lease renewal in Aug 2021
6) Annual base rental increment



First reit price drop to 2 years low mainly due to its sponsor Lippo facing cashflow issue and had its credit rating downgraded.

SOLD: VICOM

 

Sold my 2,000 shares of Vicom on 14th Aug at $6.12

Total profit, including dividend, of $1969 (15.5%) in 3 years 7 months.

Reasons for selling it:

1. Mainly is to take profit and plan to re-invest this capital into another stock which I have been eyeing for that have higher possibility of capital gain and higher dividend %.
2. Limited capital gain upside at current price $6.12
