Food Review: Japan Ichiran Ramen (Self cook at home)

Since we cant fly to Japan to enjoy our favorite Japanese Ramen and due to dine in restriction, the next best way to enjoy a HOT, YUMMY and DELICIOUS ramen will be self cook at home.

Japan Ichiran had came out a self cook at home ramen and was long wanting to try it due to the good reviews from many. What stopped me from buying earlier is the price.

I would say it is worth paying for this especially when you have craving for ramen.

The package contain 5 x (noodles + soup base + chili).

Given it was Japan products, I was expecting all the 5 x noodles are individual packed. But all the 5 x noodles are packed together (Dont worry, you dont have to cook all 5 x noodles at one go as you can still keep the balance in the original packaging).

Although I dont understand Japanese, but the picture instruction are simple enough for me to understand and follow.

The cooking is super easy too for someone who only know how to cook maggi mee.

Boil the water in pot, add in noodles and cook for 2mins 30sec, add in the soup base, off the gas and stir.


Hokkaido scallops not included in the Ichiran ramen :p
You can add in your own Meat, Onsen egg or Scallops.
This Fukuyama brand is my favourite and can be bought from NTUC.
